Product Description
The Omron CQM1-TC002 (CQM1TC002) is a CQM1 series control module with a input temperature (thermocouple) sensor. The control modules input temperature sensor types are ‘K’ and ‘J’. The ‘K’ type controls temps between the set point ranges of -300 to 2,300°F (200 to 1,300°C); while the ‘J’ type sets temperatures between -100 to 1,500°F (100 to 850°C). This control module also has 2 control loops, but only on needs to be used. The CQM1-TC002’s internal current consumption is, when the voltage is at 5VDC is 220mA and the modules external supply voltage is 15mA per minute with a voltage of 24VDC with +10% and -15%.The parameters can be placed by handing down commands from the PLC. Commands for this module are conducted by the transfer I/O command instruction which is part of a CQM1H CPU module. The PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) indemnifies a stable temperature control for the CQM1-TC002 temperature control module.
The CQM1-TC002 control module is of the sourcing output type. The sourcing output has a PNP (positive-negative-positive) transistor which sources positive power to the output. The PNP transistor outputs with short-circuit safeguard. In an Omron configuration, the temperature module will be one of the specialized I/O modules which manage the thermocouple. In the configuration, the CQM1-TC002 control module can also be placed next to a counterpart module, the CQM1-TC10[]/30[] which controls a platinum resistance thermometer. The module can be connected to the latter mentioned module and any other specialized input or output module with connectors incorporated in the side of the module.
