Product Description

The Omron CQM1-ID212 (CQM1-ID212) is a CQM1 series control module with 16 input points. The control module may connect with other specialized input and output modules. Connections are made to other modules by the use of the helpful integrated connectors built-in on the side of the control module and sliders on top which lock and secure the connection between modules. This configuration in which the CQM1-ID212 is a part of can also be installed on a DIN rack and locked in the configuration with the DIN mounting pins.

There are 18 screw terminals on the removable screw block of the CQM1-ID212 input control module, they are named A0-A8 and B0-B8. There are 16 input points which are fed to the control module by points A0-A7 and B0-B7 terminals. Terminals A8 and B8 are COM terminals.

In an Omron configuration this control module may be used with a motley of CPU units. The CQM1-CPU11, 21-E can handle up to 7 units with a total of 128 points max. The CQM1-CPU4[]-EV1 and the CQM1-CPU4[]-E can hold 11 unit with the former able to handle 256 points and the latter 192 points.

The input voltage of the CQM1-ID212 control module is 24VDC, but it fluctuates between +10% and -15%.The input impedance is 3.9 kilo-ohms, and its current is 6mA when it is at 24VDC. The internal consumption is 85mA at 5VDC. Then the CQM1ID212 has differing ON voltage and OFF voltage. The ON voltage is at 14.4 VDC minimum while the OFF voltage is 5.0VDC maximum. Similarly, there is an ON delay and OFF delay. Both the ON delay and the OFF delay take 8ms to activate.
