Product Description
The Omron C200H-MC221 (C200HMC221) is a C200H series motion control module. To connect this control module to a personal computer, a RS-422 or RS-232C cable needs to be employed in that connection. The cable used must fulfill a couple of requirements, specifically the communication standard should be 9,600bps. A teaching box can be attached to the motion control module using the following cables: CV500-CN224, CV500-CN424, or CV500-CN624.On the C200H-MC221 there are six indicator lights. The ‘RUN’ light, when green signifies that the control module has made a successful connection with a personal computer; the ‘ERR’ light turns on red when the motion control has malfunction, then there is the ‘XCCW’ and ‘YCCW’ lights orange when the motor which this control module gyrates counterclockwise, the last two, ‘XCW’ and ‘YCW’, light orange when the motor the control module manages gyrates clockwise. Also, on the C200H-MC221 are three ports, the peripheral device, the 36-pin DRV X-Y and the 26-pin I/O connector. The input and output connectors can use a XW2Z-100J-F1 cable that can connect with a control module terminal.
The C200H-MC221 motion control module can be situated onto a backplane secured with a hook that is on the back of the motion controller and are locked in place with a locking device in the backplane. On the backplane, there must also be a power supply control module and a CPU module. Other slots which are part of the backplane that are not used by necessary modules are slots 3, 5, 8, and 10 which these slots can hold the control module.
