Product Description
The Omron C200H-AD002 (C200HAD002) is a input control module from the C200H series. The control module is placed next to its counterpart analog output module the C200H-DA002 with its basic configuration. Besides the C200H-AD002, there can be a horde of different specialized input output control modules. One control module that may be very salient for this analog input is the C200H-CT001-V1. The CPU control module used for this configuration may be either from the SYSMAC C200HS/C200H.There are indicator lights on the C200H-AD002 control module which denote the state of the module with either a green or red light. If the light is green, operation should be going on as usual. When the light is red, there is a disconnect in the wires; however, this light will only turn on if the input range is within 1 to 5 V/4 to 20mA. There is also a control module number switch that may be set between 0 and 9. Different settings will have contrasting IR and DM words. Lastly, there is a connector on the bottom of the C200H-AD002 that allows the control module to dispense inputs.
The C200H-AD002 input control module has multiple functions. One function is the ‘conversion prohibit setting’, which incapacitates the module from converting unexploited inputs from analog to digital; this commutes the processing time and can even mitigate the sampling time. There is also an ‘input range setting’ function that the C200H-AD002 control module has. This function can set the input range for every input number depending on the input signal used.
