Product Description
The Omron C200H-AD001 (C200HAD001) is a C200H series control module with 4 input points. The control module transforms the output of an analog field mechanism to digital form so that a personal computer can read the information. The input control module needs to be placed in an Omron configuration. It is most properly placed next to the its counterpart, the C200H-DA001 module. The configuration needs to use a C200HS, C200H, C200HG, C200HX, or C200HE series CPU.In this basic configuration, the C200H-AD001 control module sometimes may be used as an interface for other apparatuses. This will work as long as the voltage and current it is interfacing is within the designated range.
On the back end of the C200H-AD001 control module there is a backplane connector to allow the unit to connect to an expansion rack. Also on the back is a DIP switch that can set the unit’s functions. On the front there is a unit number setting switch and voltage/current input screws terminals. There are thirteen screw terminals which are divided into four input points, each point has a positive voltage input and current input and a negative input terminal. Besides these, input points of the C200H-AD001, there is a common terminal that has analog voltage of 0V. The four inputs lead to the integrated multiplexer which leads all the way to the aforementioned backplane connector.
The four inputs of the C200H-AD001 control module have input signal ranges between 1 to 5V except for input 3, whose range is 4 to 20mA.
