Product Description

The Mitsubishi HC-MFS43 (HCMFS43) is a 400W Melservo HC servo motor. The conventional speed is generally 3000rpm. Though that is standard, this speed is permitted to increase to 4500rpm; but, even though it is only temporary, the servo motor may reach speeds of 5175rpm. The torque is ordinarily 1.3 (N x m) or 184.1 (oz x in); however, it may be enlarged to 3.8 (N x m) or 538.1 (oz x in). The HC-MFS43 servo motor has a moment of inertia that is of the standard type which is 0.143 J(x10^-4kg x m^2) or 0.782 J(oz x in^2). The current for the servo motor is usually 2.8A, but this also can be aggrandized to 9.0A.

The HC-MFS43 servo motor can link to four servo amplifiers, and these are those applicable servo amplifiers: MR-J2S-40Cl, MR-J2S-40CP, MR-J2S-40A, and MR-J2S-40CL. There are two approaches in which one may attach the two sets of products. The first approach is to attach a power cable to the servo motor and link it to the three top screw terminals possessed (the U, V, and W) by the appointed servo amplifier. The other way is to attach the encoder cable to the encoder of the HC-MFS43 servo motor; then link this encoder to the designated servo amplifier by its CN2 port positioned on the top of the servo amplifier.

This servo motor, the HC-MFS43, is an ultra-low inertia motor. Not only this, but this servo motor is also a small capacity motor. All of this is because the servo motor participates in the HC-MFS series.
