Product Description

The Mitsubishi HC-MFS23B (HCMFS23B) is a 200W Melservo HC series servo motor with a brake. The servo motor has a torque of 0.64 (N x m) or 90.6 (oz x in); however, the torque may be inflated to 1.9 (N x m) or 269.0 (oz x in). The current is normally 1.5 Amp but any operation can function (because it is authorized to) at 5.0 Amp. The normal speed of the HC-MFS23B servo motor is 3000rpm, but the greatest speed it may operate on is 4500rpm. Nevertheless, for a short time it may attain a speed of 5175rpm. The moment of inertia for the servo motor with a brake is 0.136 J(x10^-4kg x m^2) or 0.743 J(oz x in^2).

There are a four servo amplifiers, the MR-J2S-20A, MR-J2S-20B, MR-J2S-20CP, and MR-J2S-20CL, which may attach to the HC-MFS23B servo motor with a brake. Here is how it might connect with these servo amplifiers. Primarily, the encoder which belongs to the servo motor with a brake must attach, deploying an encoder cable, to the CN2 port of the chosen servo amplifier. In addition to this, the HC-MFS23B servo motor with a brake may also attach to three of the screw terminals of the chosen servo amplifier: U, V, W; by utilizing the power cable for the servo motor.

The HC-MFS23B servo motor with a brake is not only an ultra-low inertia motor, but it is also a small capacity motor. These types of motors can link to only two types of specific applications, which are named in this product’s manual.
