Product Description

The Mitsubishi MDS-B-V2-3520 (MDSBV23520) is a 3.5kW and 2.0kW MDS series servo drive. Since this servo drive has two axes, an L-axis and an M-axis. There are four servo motors that are applicable to the servo motor’s L-axis, and they are the: HA103N, HA200N, HA203NL, and HA300NL; and there are five servo motors which may be implemented to the MDS-B-V2-3520 servo drive’s M-Axis, they are the: HA100N, HA103NL, HA150NL, HA153NL, and HA200NL. The voltage for both axes is 155V. the current flows at 16.0A for the L-axis and 13.0A for the M-axis; however the largest current permitted is 57.0A for the L-axis and 42.0A for the M-axis.

To link the MDS-B-V2-3520 servo drive to the two appointed servo motor of different axes will be shown below. Firstly, in concatenating with the delegated servo motor from the M-axis, the CN2M port on the servo drive must link with an encoder cable which can then hook to its encoder. Then, so the M-axis servo motor may receive a power supply, it must attach to the three top terminals, which are the MU, MV, and MW. In order for the MDS-B-V2-3520 servo drive to attach the servo motor appropriate for the L-axis, the same process must be initiated, except that the encoder will link with the CN2L port and to obtain the power supply, it must link to the servo drive’s bottom terminals, the LU, LV, and LW. There also happens to be another terminal on the MDS-B-V2-3520 servo drive which is utilized for grounding.
