Product Description
The Mitsubishi FX2N-4AD (FX2N4AD) is an analog input block from the FX series. The block has four channels that are input channels. The voltage input spans from -10 to 10VDC; the current input is -20 to 20mA. The conversion speed for the channels is 15ms for every channel if it runs at a normal speed and 6ms per channel when it runs at a high speed.The BFMs (buffer memory) in the FX2N-4AD analog input block are allotted to channels or other location. BFMs are labeled #0 to #31. BFM #13 to #31 are placed in various locations such as ‘reserved’ or other miscellaneous place. BFM #0 is for channel initialization which begins with its default of ‘HOOOO’; the first ‘O’ controls channel 4, etc. Numbers 0 to 3 may replace the ‘Os’. ‘0’ has a range of -10V to 10V, ‘1’ spans from 4mA to 20mA, ‘2’ has a -20mA to 20mA ambit, and ‘3’ means the channel is OFF. For example, if the command ‘H2313’ is given to the FX2N-4AD, channel 1 and 3 are OFF, channel 2 has the current range of 4mA to 20mA, and channel 4 has a current range of -20mA to 20mA. Groups #1-#4, #5-#8, and #9-#12 are each located in channels 1, 2, 3, and 4.
When placed in a configuration, the FX2N-4AD block can be placed with PLCs from the FX1N, FX2N, or FX2NC series. It must be placed with a FX2NC-CNV-IF. The analog input block takes up eight points when it is connected with an expansion bus.
