Product Description
The Beijer E1060 (E-1060) is an operator interface panel from the E1000 series. The front panel has the measurements of 275mm by 168mm by 6mm (10.83in by 6.61in by 0.24in) while its active display area is 115.2mm by 86.4mm (4.54in by 3.4in). The panel size is 5.7in.The keyboard on the E1060 panel is furnished with an overlay film called Autotex F157. This overlay uses the 7-series ink primer with a fine finish at the gauge of 150µm. One million operations can be executed with this. The display is given a transmissive color using a STN-LCD. STN-LCD (Super Twisted Nematic Liquid Crystal Display) is a monochrome display that yields a gray or blue and yellow/green contrast. This screen has 320 by 240 pixels and also uses 64K different colors. The E1060 is also given a protective structure rating of IP66 for its front panel. This rating denotes the dust and moisture protection. It is completely dust hermetic, and it is also able to resist being sprayed by high pressure jets. The rear panel is given a rating of IP20. This rating means that the rear panel is protected from finger and small object contiguity; and the reverse side material is made of powder-coated aluminum.
The E1060 operator interface panel has two ports. The RS-422/RS-485 serial port is a 25-pin port; the RS-232C serial port is a 9-pin port. The panel participates in the Ethernet using a shielded RJ45 cable. The E1060 can also make connections with a USB cable whose output current is 500mA max.
